Rolleston Envirotown Market is a community event held on the second Sunday of the month at Rolleston Square from 10 am to 1 pm. If raining, the event is held in vacant shops.
The first Envirotown Market was held on a sunny day on Sunday 13 September.

The smooth organisation was assisted by RendezVous Cafe providing complimentary beverages to stall holders, entertainers and organisers; the Drycleaners lending trestles; Ray White sponsoring flyers; volunteers delivering the flyers to letterboxes and the Fire Brigade lending cones.

Rolleston Envirotown Market is an initiative set up by Rolleston Envirotown (RET) whose aims are to:
(a) Educate, promote and encourage sustainability in the Rolleston area.
(b) Promote individual and community well-being through good environmental practices.
(c) Care for the ecological environment with social and economic aspirations of a resilient community.
(d) Promote a beautiful environment which people want to live in, and to look after, for present and future generations.

Plus free-range eggs, bread, blackcurrants (in season), plants, vege seedlings, native plants, recycled wood products, baking (including organic), asparagus, natural cleaning products, knitting, fudge and more.
